About Us

Jackie Niedringhaus, Au.D.


Dr. Niedringhaus and her family have lived in Rock Hill for over 25 years. She has been in private practice for 20 years. In May, 2000, by completing the Doctor of Audiology Degree at the University of Florida, she became the first audiologist in South Carolina to earn a doctoral degree in audiology. She continuously attends seminars and courses to stay abreast of new techniques and technology in all areas of the hearing healthcare field.

The goal of her practice is to provide the best hearing healthcare in the area. Whether it is fitting hearing aids or counseling patients about hearing loss and hearing conservation, the practice is equipped to provide a variety of services.

She grew up in Camden, SC and received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Georgia. After working for several years as a speech language pathologist, she returned to graduate school at the University of South Carolina to earn a Master’s Degree in Audiology.

Dr. Niedringhaus has been licensed to practice Audiology in South Carolina since 1984.
She is a Fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and Academy of Dispensing Audiology. She is past president of the South Carolina Association of Audiologists and past president of the Audiological Resource Association from whom she was awarded "Audiologist of the Year" in 1992.

Dr. Niedringhaus is also certified as a CAOHC course director. Each year she teaches several CAOHC courses for certification of occupational hearing conservationists as mandated by OSHA. Dr. Niedringhaus manages hearing conservation programs for over 200 companies throughout the southeast and is the corporate audiologist for Celanese.

Dr. Niedringhaus’s interests and expertise is in the area of hearing aids and hearing conservation. She is knowledgeable and trained in the latest and most sophisticated hearing aid technology. She provides service to area assistive living facilities and contracts with local school districts and government agencies.


Scott Bemiss


Scott Bemis is one of our office technicians and is also in charge of the hearing conservation portion of the practice. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from Winthrop University and is currently enrolled in Winthrop’s MBA program.

Scott is a certified CAOHC technician and has over 5 years experience in the hearing conservation field providing testing and noise surveys. He is responsible for scheduling companies for testing and also follow up of services provided.

Scott is also trained to repair hearing aids in house. With over 5 years experience in repairing hearing aids, Scott can complete most repairs while you wait.


Keiwanna Beard


Keiwanna Beard is our office manager. She is responsible for running a smooth and efficient office. She is responsible for scheduling patients, filing insurance and third party claims, and maintaining files and patient information.

Keiwanna is also trained in hearing aid cleaning and basic hearing aid repairs. She is also knowledgeable in all hearing aids dispensed and can help patients with questions about the use and care of their hearing aids.



Flora Baker


Flora Baker is our Insurance Manager. Her vast knowledge of and experience with verifying and filing insurance keeps us up to date with our insurance claims. She is responsible for all insurance billing and follow up including Medicare and Medicaid. If you have questions or concerns about your insurance or coverage for audiology services, please call Flora at ext. 106.



Ryan Cloninger


Ryan Cloninger is the newest addition to our staff. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management  from the University of South Carolina in May, 2008.  He is a CAOHC trained technician.  He assists with the industrial hearing testing and noise studies.  He is trained in basic hearing aid repairs and can also clean and check hearing aids.  You may see him manning the front desk when he is not out on the road testing. 



Sandi Langston


Sandi Langston is a member of the administrative support staff in our Industrial Department.   She is responsible for tracking the industrial testing schedule and for putting together information for companies in preparation for our testing.  She enters all data from onsite testing,  prepares all reports and tracks delivery of notebooks.  She prepares and records all industrial invoices.   Sandi is the one you will talk to when  followup phone calls are made once testing is completed and results are delivered.
